This is an exciting opportunity for a willing volunteer to gain valuable veterinary experience in a new and large animal hospital in Amman, Jordan – home to the Dead Sea, the Red Sea and Petra. The role would involve routine and emergency veterinary work on a wide range of animals and birds assisting the full time vet.
Newly qualified or experienced vets would be very welcome and could start any time. Ideally the hospital would like a vet to volunteer for 2-3 months but a shorter time would be considered.
This opportunity is offered by Oyster Worldwide who, following an informal face to face or telephone interview make all the arrangements including flights accommodation and briefing before. The cost includes flights from London (reduced price if flight not required), accommodation and co-ordination and is currently £1495 for a month and £375 for additional months.
