Crowned with awards from the Ashoka Changemakers and National Geographic Societies, this revolutionary Ecotourism project advocates environmental sustainability through education. Specifically, proceeds from the low impact Ecolodge, located in the heart of the Amazon, fund a rural Technical High School that focuses on relevant curricula in six productive areas (see below) to teach indigenous students how to create local livelihoods that conserve their endangered Amazon homeland.

This project offers opportunities for diverse skill sets and also caters to the truly volunteer who can dabble in a bit of everything related to the enterprise’s theme of "Sustainability through Education.” Any background in ecotourism, sustainable/organic agriculture, English as second language, tropical ecology, small business development, culinary arts, hotel administration, education, alternative energy, sustainable architecture, community development and environmental conservation are among the skills that can be used here.
